With the crop of young talented photographers in the area it is easy to feel like just another one of those pursing what they love. It at times can feel competitive and like others are always doing better than you and you start comparing yourself to everyone else. As artists, it is very common to do this, but where does this get anyone?
Instead of feeling like just another photographer out there, Cami of Cami Jane Photography and I decided that we are going to root each other on and help each other grow in each others business. What a cool way to start a community of people who believe in each other and their talents…and genuinely want the best for the other person. This shoot is a reflection of us trying new things and encouraging one another. We both took pictures of each other and our men in the same place, switching off now and then. It will be cool to see the shots Cami got!
God created us all differently, so even though we were in the same place taking pictures, I see the world differently through my lens then Cami does…and that is okay. That is what makes all of us, not just artists, different. Cami and Erik, you were so fun to hang out with on this photo adventure. I look forward to many more!

Lauren of LA CREATIVE STUDIO - Thanks so much for your kind words Aimee!
aimee grover - You guys are sooo cute! Isn’t it good practice to be other the other side of the camera? Love your thoughts on building each other up :) Our community could use a little more of that!
